Koganaawsawin is a not-for-profit corporation established by Anishinabek First Nations and Anishinabek child well-being agencies to support and further enhance the delivery of child, youth, and family well-being programs and services by the First Nations and agencies - serving four strategic regional areas Bezhik (Lake Superior), Niizh (Lake Huron), Nswi (Lake Huron), and Niiwin (Southeast/Southwest).
As the central coordinating body of the Anishinabek Child, Youth, and Family Well-Being System, Koganaawsawin also supports Anishinabek First Nations who have chosen to enact the Anishinabek Nation Child Well-Being Law within their communities.
The Koganaawsawin headquarters is located on Nipissing First Nation, outside of North Bay, Ontario, with satellite offices located in Thunder Bay, Curve Lake First Nation, and Munsee-Delaware Nation.
